SNSYC Thanksgiving Rendezvous

Where: Maple Bay Marina 

When: Friday October 1 to Sunday October 3rd.

Please join us in Maple Bay by first securing a berth at the marina and then registering to attend through the SNSYC web site, cost is $25.00 a person.  Early registration will assist the hosts to make this another memorable event.  

There will be a selection of suitable events, competitions, and PRIZES.  Come prepared to play and dress up your boat and yourselves, the theme is up to you, but “Thanksgiving” seems to be a good choice.

Once again, the Covid pandemic and changing Public Health orders and recommendations have understandably made finalizing the arrangements for this event difficult.  We will be complying with Public Health orders.  So be prepared to social distance, wear masks, form small groups (bubbles) and present your BC Vaccine Passport.

We are in ongoing discussions with the Shipyard restaurant at the marina, for a group dinner on Saturday Night.  Covid restrictions are making this difficult.  Dinner details will be released to those that register.

Please note: We are continuing with the development and publication of the 2021 cruising events notwithstanding the constantly changing Public Health Orders and recommendations related to the Covid pandemic. Our philosophy is to be ready, not to be rushed as we draw closer to each scheduled event. It is important that we recognize changing PHO may necessitate schedule changes up to and including cancellation of an event. If fees were paid on registration and then the event is cancelled those fees would be reimbursed in full.
