There are various activities still in the planning stages. Some with prizes and others with bragging rights. Some of these will require additional fees for participants. In an effort to stay safe (COVID) through minimizing the exchange of cash, participants wishing to become involved in various activities during the rendezvous should consider bringing cash in $5 increments. Obviously how much cash you bring is up to you.
The tickets for this event filled rendezvous are $65 per person and include prizes, two breakfasts, and one deluxe dinner with wine, and tons of fun!
Boat Decorating Contest
We will all be voting for the “Best Canada Day Decorated Boat”.
- Prizes include; One night of free moorage with power!
- Prizes will also be awarded for second and third place boats.
This is a good year to ensure we celebrate Canada Day, please bring materials to decorate your boat!
Registration is open to SNSYC Club Members and their guests and will close on June 15th. Please secure your moorage spot first then register early to help our hosts plan quantities and other details to ensure a good time for everyone.
One of the new things we are trying out this year is allowing guest boats to join our cruises. This means if you know of a non-member with a boat that would like to try out SNSYC cruising, you can invite them along as your guests. You would be required to register them as your guests and pay for them with your registration. You can then re-coup the costs from your guests. Make sure any guest boat also secures moorage.
Due to the uncertainties of the pandemic, participants should be prepared to wear masks and social distance.

Ticket costs will only be refunded if the event is cancelled.

Please note: We are continuing with the development and publication of the 2021 cruising events notwithstanding the constantly changing Public Health Orders and recommendations related to the Covid pandemic. Our philosophy is to be ready, not to be rushed as we draw closer to each scheduled event. It is important that we recognize changing PHO may necessitate schedule changes up to and including cancellation of an event. If fees were paid on registration and then the event is cancelled those fees would be reimbursed in full.
