Last chance to participate in the third and last set of Focus Groups!

Call for Participants: “Charting the Course” Strategic Plan 2021-2031
Focus Groups

Monday Nov 23rd and Tuesday, Nov 24th will be the third dates of the Focus Groups to help update the Strategic Plan for the SNSYC.

Please come and participate and bring forward your ideas and enthusiasm!

All participants must pre-register to participate. You can register for both Nov 23rd and 24th if your interest lies there. We would ask that members who have previously attended these 2 sessions do not register for the ZOOM sessions so as to leave room for those previously unable to attend in person.

Monday Nov 23rd  session: 1900-2030hrs

Focus Group 1 –  Membership, Entertainment, and Cruising

Facilitator: Linda Allan. Zoom Host: Alan Hannebauer

Tuesday Nov 24th  session: 1900-2030 hrs

Focus Group 2 –  Junior Sailing, Junior Memberships, Club Boats.

Facilitator: Stephen Hill. ZOOM Host: Alan Hannebauer

You will be sent the ZOOM invite to your registered session the evening before. Please sign in to the ZOOM session 5 minutes before the session starts so that we can start on time.

This will give those who weren’t able to participate in the first two in person Focus Groups a chance to attend. For those who did participate in the first Focus Groups, please do not register for the same sessions so as to make room for those previously unable to attend. However, this is your chance to attend a different event.

The Facilitators may be emailing out working papers for each session that you register for two days in advance. The working papers will be taken from the existing Strategic Plans and each group will be asked to review, update and bring forth new ideas.

You will be asked to participate keeping in mind sustainability: that includes member satisfaction with finances, facilities, and activities.

If you wish to make a written submission on any of the Focus Groups sessions that have been held in October and November, please email your submission before December 1st to: commodore@snsyc.ca

We look forward to your input and ideas!

Note: You must log into the website to register for these events.
