Dress up your boat with some festive Christmas lights and brighten our docks. Then enjoy free moorage at Port Sidney, Saturday, December 16, joining their Lighted Ship Festival. Follow the lead of SV Alika December 16 in a SailPast between 5 and 6 pm of the Sidney waterfront returning to Port Sidney. Donate to RCMSAR for their watchful oversight of the parade. Tide will be slack. SailPast will be weather dependent.
Peninsula Celebrations Society will not conduct a SailPast following the annual Santa Truck Parade. The SailPast event on December 16th is in concert with the Port of Sidney's Lighted Ship Festival and supported by Sidney North Saanich Yacht Club. Local Yacht Clubs and marinas will be invited to participate. The event will be publicized to rally an audience.
