Adult Dinghy Racing

It’s time to go dinghy racing!!!
Starting on April 11th, we have a new "Adult Dinghy Race Team" program that will get you out on one of the club dinghies for organized races and training.  The first session will  be Thursday evenings from 4:30 to 7:30 for three weeks. A second session starts on May 2nd, also for three weeks.   This is open to everyone, so let your crew know.  There will be a series of short races each evening followed by a de-brief/education session in the club afterwards.  An excellent opportunity for you to brush up on your small boat skills, and also for your crew to learn more about sailing and racing.   Or better yet, get you AND your crew out, and then you can show them why you're the skipper!  Or challenge another boat to see who's better in identical boats.....   Lots of opportunity for fun and leaning!  You can sign up through the event calendar on the clubs web site, just make sure it's the "Adult dinghy race team”. This is open to both members and non members of all ages and all skippers should be experienced. So bring a friend and race in a 420 together or if you have no friends you can take out a laser.
There is a cost of $100 per 3 week series, this covers dinghy maintenance, chase boat and organizers. There are a limited number of boats so sign up early and don’t miss out!! Minimum of 6 participants for the program to proceed
